Forum for Indori NRIs

FIN is an initiative by an incumbent Mayor of Indore, Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav to connect and collaborate with the NRIs from Indore, for the development of Indore. FIN will be open for Overseas Citizens of India who are either sharing their roots with Indore or the well-wishers of Indore.

Activities of the FIN will be regulated by its Governing body which will have representatives from various countries along with the four coordinators (based locally in Indore) and FIN will be chaired by the Mayor of Indore. Below are the proposed activities to come under the framework of FIN

• Establish smooth coordination between INDORI NRIs and the Policy makers of Indore

• Conduct bi-monthly (virtual/offline) meeting between FIN’s Governing body and the Mayor of Indore

• Local coordinators of FIN to act as Helpline for INDORI NRIs (setting up email helpline, Whatsapp, etc)

• FIN will provide an opportunity to the INDORI NRIs to invest or promote the investment in Indore by themselves as well as through their contacts around the globe

• FIN will provide an opportunity for INDORI NRIs to participate (physically, financially or morally) in various social projects in Indore

• FIN will provide the details about the prospective products that can be exported from Indore to rest of the globe.

• Promotion of INDORI art culture and tourism.

• Encourage participation in pravasi bhartiya divas.

• Knowledge transfer, employment generation and entrepreneur’s guidance cell.
